V Social Innovation Awards: Pharmacists and SDGs

The General Council of Official Colleges of Pharmacists announces the fifth edition of the Social Innovation Awards: Pharmacists and SDGs with the aim of publicly recognizing the extraordinary work that pharmacists carry out as agents of social and environmental transformation, contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (“SDGs”).

The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, approved by the UN in 2015, constitutes a global roadmap towards a more just, inclusive, and sustainable world, promoting the well-being of people and the protection of the planet under the principle of leaving no one behind.

The Social Innovation Awards: Pharmacists and the SDGs they recognize the extraordinary work carried out by pharmacists, professional associations, and regional councils of pharmacists, as key agents of social and environmental transformation, as well as their contribution to these Sustainable Development Goals through the promotion of innovative initiatives.

In 2026, these awards will celebrate their fifth edition, consolidating themselves —after the success and growing participation in previous calls— as a benchmark within the healthcare and social spheres, by highlighting projects and initiatives that generate a positive impact on the health, social equity, and sustainability of communities.
