What is a Personalized Dosing System?
- It is a container with differentiated compartments where the different medications for each daily dose are placed.
- It helps you keep track of your treatment in an organized way, by day and by dose, for a specific period of time.
- It is carried out under the direct supervision of a pharmacist and following a strict safety and quality protocol developed by the Council of Colleges of Pharmacists of the Canary Islands for all compounding pharmacies registered in the community.
What are its advantages?
A pharmacist is a healthcare professional who is an expert in drugs and the therapeutic use of medications in humans. A pharmacist's role can include managing a pharmacy, working in a hospital, researching and developing new drugs, and more.
Who can apply for it?
- Pharmacies that prepare SPD and meet the requirements of the Council of Pharmaceutical Colleges of the Canary Islands will be identified with the badge shown here.
