The General Council of Official Colleges of Pharmacists, with the support of the different official colleges of pharmacists, is promoting a study on pharmacists“ perception of community pharmacy activities from a gender and sex perspective, as part of the health campaign it is developing under the title ”Pharmacy for Women's Health: Caring for You, Caring for All" in collaboration with Organon laboratories.
The study will be developed with the participation of PSYMA, a market research institute specialized in the sector, with the objective of understanding the needs and interest of community pharmacists in addressing women's health from a gender and sex perspective, especially in those health problems or treatments where biological differences are relevant.
We know that you perform a very valuable role as a health educator, which presents an excellent opportunity to disseminate and improve the knowledge of the population you serve, both in disease prevention and health promotion, as well as in improving quality of life, especially for women, who are the ones who typically visit the pharmacy.
The study that is about to begin consists of pharmacists, whether associates or owners, from all over Spain responding to a survey to understand their perception. To this end, a specialized company will select a representative sample of pharmacies to which they will send the online survey.
If your pharmacy is selected, you will receive a new communication in the coming days, this time from PSYMA, inviting you to participate in completing the online questionnaire that has been prepared. Your response will be confidential and treated anonymously. Your participation would be greatly appreciated if you are selected. With your opinion, you will help us consolidate the health campaign we are developing, tailored to your daily professional needs.
Your opinion is very important.
If you have any questions, we are at your disposal so that we can resolve them conveniently.
We thank you in advance for your collaboration.
