The Spanish Scientific Society for Studies on Alcohol, Alcoholism, and Other Addictions (SOCIDROGALCOHOL) has been organizing this nationally and, for the past six years, also internationally significant scientific meeting for 51 years. An event with a biopsychosocial perspective, with room to delve deeper into addictive behaviors from all its vertices (research, prevention, treatment, inclusion, legislative aspects, etc.) and professional fields (medicine, pharmacy, psychology, psychiatry, social work, nursing, social education, sociology, etc.).
This new edition, the seventh time it has been organized by the Valencian Community, will feature presentations, conferences, and workshops by Professionals of recognized prestige in their respective areas of activity, which will offer updated and future vision of addictive behaviors.
One aspect that has characterized these Conferences since their inception is the promotion of spaces for training and reflection that serve as a driving force for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among the attendees. On this occasion, there will be a special emphasis on networking among early-career researchers and clinicians.
Just like in the last three editions, they will feature a Hybrid format This is intended to make it easier for all professionals who, for various reasons, cannot attend the Congress in person. Furthermore, this dual format will also allow any registered participant to access the presentations, lectures, and communications for the month following the event.
