IV International Congress of Physiotherapists. Active coping with chronicity

On November 14, 15, and 16, 2024, the Official College of Physiotherapists of the Canary Islands invites you to

IV International Congress of the Official College of Physiotherapists of the Canary Islands.

The proposal for this congress is to present chronicity from a health perspective rather than an illness perspective, focusing on the person living with it, their family, and their environment. In addition to the enriching scientific exchange, which you will find in presentations and master classes. Leisure and sports activities have been organized to facilitate places of meeting and fun. The program for this congress, in a novel way, provides time and space to enjoy the wide range of leisure and tourism that our land has to offer, in addition to the final closing at the Congress Dinner.

With this event, we aim to promote an international paradigm shift towards person-centered care and that of their environment, valuing Health Education, Prevention, and Promotion. We aim to move towards a new model where all healthcare professionals, including physiotherapists, can contribute to the sustainability of the system by leveraging our full potential.
