The Association of Patients with Heart, Lung, and Other Organ Diseases of the Canary Islands organize the Heart Week that will take place on the days October 19 and 20.
The II Regional Transplant Recipients Meeting, will kick off this Heart Week, on the day October 19 in the Las Arenas Shopping Center from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, where patients who have received heart and other organ transplants will gather, along with their families and medical professionals. This meeting has as main objective share experiences, advances in treatments, and foster awareness about organ donation. Furthermore, it is an opportunity to strengthen the transplant community, offering support and creating a space for the exchange of knowledge and testimonials that can inspire others.

The October 20, to close these workshops, will be held the Walk and Run Go Heart!. It is an event designed to promote cardiovascular disease prevention and encourage healthy lifestyle habits. Through this initiative, we seek to raise community awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy heart through physical activity, a balanced diet, and regular medical check-ups.
