XXXV Congress of the Canary Society of Geriatrics – Fuerteventura

The Canarian Society of Geriatrics and Gerontology (SOCANGER) It is a scientific and multidisciplinary society, with one of its objectives being to promote knowledge and scientific advances related to aging. Among its members are professionals from different professional branches, who are dedicated to the care of the elderly from a holistic perspective. We have been continuously developing training and outreach activities for over 35 years.

For this reason, SOCANGER holds a Regional Congress every year, which rotates itinerantly through each of our islands. The last congress held on the island of Lanzarote in 2023 had a participation of 110 professionals, and this year we expect to double that figure.

The days The XXXV Congress of the Canary Society of Geriatrics will be held on November 28 and 29, 2024., which will take place in the Palacio de Formación y Congresos of Fuerteventura in Puerto del Rosario. Our Society has a presence on the main social networks (Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin) and these activities will be promoted on these networks.

The Congress's program includes the Pre-congress for and by caregivers, cFour plenary sessions of multidisciplinary interest, participatory workshops and a space for the prPresentation of scientific communications. All of this will be distributed according to the attached program progress.

We hope to meet again and be able to share enriching moments both scientifically and socially.
