The Official College of Physiotherapists of the Canary Islands organizes the Health Fair, under the slogan «Active Coping with Chronicity,» which will take place next Saturday October 26 in the San Telmo Park, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The goal The fundamental goal of the activity is to promote health and raise societal awareness about the importance of improving the quality of life for affected individuals, while also informing the general population about the broad areas of work of the various healthcare professionals involved.
Likewise, it is intended to show that a multidisciplinary approach must be a reality in Health Services, contributing as health professionals to a change in focus to provide solutions and improve patients' quality of life.
Will be developed various activities, so that the population participates actively, through «mini-schools for affected people,» where teaching materials, workshops, and informational talks will be provided.
