HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF AVAILABLE DISPENSING ASSISTANCE TOOLS

In the pharmacy, every day we face situations where a good tool – reliable, accessible, and up-to-date – can make a difference. The truth is that we have many useful resources at our disposal… but we don't always know how to use them well or how to get the most out of them, whether due to lack of knowledge or lack of practice.

We have designed this training to help you agilely and confidently integrate the resources at your disposal, which will facilitate your decision-making during dispensing.

Dispensing Class it's a practical workshop designed specifically for that: to help you gain fluency and confidence with tools like BotPlusWeb, the Virtual Pharmacy of the COFLP and even our own Infographics and circulars. You will learn how to get the most out of each tool with recommendations tailored to the reality of the counter and tricks that will really serve you at the counter.

Through a practical methodology focused on real-world examples, we will equip you with the skills to efficiently integrate these resources into your daily activities, optimizing decision-making at the counter.

An opportunity to gain time, safety, and judgment with every dispensing.

The training will be provided by Mercedes Herrera Sánchez-Maroto y María Isabel Ávila Pallarés, Pharmaceuticals of the Professional Response Department – Dispensing Care of the Official College of Pharmacists of Las Palmas.

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE

To equip the pharmacist with practical knowledge and skills to effectively utilize available digital tools and resources that support decision-making in the dispensing process.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

1. 1. Familiarize yourself with the use of key digital tools such as the Official College of Pharmacists (COFLP) Virtual Pharmacy, the Pharmacy Office Utilities web space, and BotPlusWeb, among others.
   2. Apply these resources in a practical way to real dispensing situations, improving accuracy and agility in the care provided.
   3. Integrate COFLP documents and materials (brochures, infographics, guides) as reliable and up-to-date support at the counter.

REGISTRATION

The registration deadline is the July 7 for the day shift July 9 and the July 13  for the shift that will be held on July 15th.

• In the case of free training activities, the COFLP reserves the right to charge a penalty of €10 for non-attendance without sufficient prior cancellation to cover the spot that another registered professional might require. Cancellations for this course, due to the limited number of spots, must be communicated in writing to the email address: desarrollopro@coflaspalmas.es with at least 5 days' notice before the start of the course to be eligible for a refund.

• The scheduled training courses have a minimum and maximum number of places. If the planned minimum is not reached, the College reserves the right to suspend them.
