General Projects AECC 2026
Application period until 12/11/2025
Objective: Support quality cancer research projects, whether basic or translational, led by principal investigators affiliated with a national research institution. Two modalities are included:

- General Individual Projects.
- Collaborative General Projects.

AECC Strategic Projects 2026
Application period until 12/11/2025
Objective: To promote the development of strategic research lines for the Spanish Association Against Cancer with the aim of addressing the challenges of cancer in: palliative care, epidemiology, radiation oncology, and surgical oncology.
Beneficiaries Group leaders affiliated with a national research entity.

AECC Chairs 2026
Application period until January 15, 2026
Objective: to improve the assistance of cancer patients and their families, in all stages of the disease equitably throughout the territory, through humanization in the prevention, care, and well-being of cancer patients. To achieve this, we foster connections between the university community and healthcare professionals for the development of training, outreach, and/or knowledge generation activities.

BeneficiariesUniversity or teaching staff, with the possibility of collaborating with healthcare professionals or other areas related to the professorship. It will be necessary to develop the professorship's project in collaboration with a Provincial Headquarters or Corporate Services of the Spanish Association Against Cancer. (Confirm requirements in the bases).

Objective: Support emerging groups in consolidating their cancer research lines by awarding financial aid to high-quality projects with a clear translational orientation, to be carried out entirely in Spain.
Beneficiaries Researchers who have started their independent scientific career within the last 5 years.

AECC Clinical Studies 2026
Application period until January 29, 2026
Objective: Promote multicenter clinical studies, not sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry, that address a clinical need or involve innovative ideas that could change clinical practice.
BeneficiariesResearchers whose activities are conducted in non-profit healthcare institutions linked or contracted to the National Health System, hospitals, or primary care centers.

Biology and Prevention Medicine AECC 2026
Application period until 02/05/2026
Objective: Advance projects that delve into the biology and medicine of Cancer prevention, to understand its causes and develop interventions preventionin elementary school more precise and effective.

Objectiveto support R&D&I projects with high potential for the transfer of results developed in a public or private, non-profit entity capable of scientific research in Spain to bring research results closer to the patient.
