CLAVE-A is a pioneering initiative developed and coordinated by the STAR-UP CORAZÓN SOLIDARIO association, a non-profit organization specializing in the development of initiatives in favor of children and adolescents at risk.
CLAVE-A training platform, the first online school specializing in training programs for child and adolescent protection against violence, offers a wide variety of courses designed to train in awareness, prevention, detection, and intervention of all types of violence against children and adolescents in any of its manifestations to contribute to a more just society.
Violence prevention has a clear public health focus given its enormous social and health consequences. Community pharmacies are healthcare establishments that provide support structures to respond to public health information needs, and the professional teams that make them up can early detect situations of possible violence, not only through the social work they perform but above all through their healthcare role in the personalized care given to users and patients. This is even more true when considering situations such as the dispensing of pregnancy tests, the morning-after pill, urinary tract infection treatments, creams for bruises, children's intimate hygiene soaps, and other treatments as indicators to consider.
This activity is for you if…
- You are a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician and you practice your work in a Community Pharmacy.
