
The next day April 21st, of 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM (Canary Islands time), the General Council of Pharmacists, at the initiative of the National Professional Representatives for Clinical Analysts and Food Pharmacists, will hold the training session called “Medications and Laboratory Tests: Practical Keys from Community Pharmacy. 2026 Edition”.
OBJECTIVES
Provide the pharmacist with useful tools to correctly interpret lab results, detect possible alterations, and recognize drug-induced interferences.
The cases to be studied during the session are:
- Elevated CA72-4 in a patient treated for gastric cancer.
- Hyperprolactinemia associated with the use of antipsychotics.
- Study of catecholamines and metanephrines in a patient with neurofibromatosis type 1.
