Online Training Session. Pharmacovigilance in Community Pharmacy

The next day June 26, of 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM (Canary Islands time), the General Council of Official Colleges of Pharmacists, at the initiative of the National Delegate for Pharmacy Practice, will hold the training session called “Pharmacovigilance in Community Pharmacy”, aimed at pharmacists who might find it of interest. This session will feature the collaboration of Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices AEMPS.

 

OBJECTIVE

 

During the session, the Spanish Pharmacovigilance System, the process for reporting suspected adverse reactions, and the system's role within the European Union will be presented. Likewise, the pharmacist's role will be discussed, along with how to report suspected adverse reactions from community pharmacies and actions taken to promote reporting in different regions of our country.

  • Silvia Represa Veiga; Community Pharmacist. Member of the Pharmacy Offices Section of the Official College of Pharmacists of A Coruña.

 


The session will be held using the “GoToWebinar” tool, which allows questions to be asked through the enabled chat functionality.
