A meeting for professionals

 

The Nutrition Update Conference from the University of Navarra are a meeting for healthcare professionals which provide insights based on the latest research, including practical aspects related to nutrition and dietetics that can be applied in the professional practice of dietitians-nutritionists, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

These Conferences, which are held annually in Pamplona, are celebrating their 20th edition, and their title is Nutrition and Skin: Scientific Evidence and Practical Application.

 

Skin is a reflection of overall health, and diet plays an essential role in maintaining its balance, appearance, and defense against external aggressions. Numerous studies show how nutrients, gut microbiota, and dietary patterns significantly influence skin function, inflammatory processes, aging, and the response to various dermatological pathologies.

 

This update course offers a comprehensive and current overview of the relationship between nutrition and skin, integrating scientific evidence with practical application. It will cover the physiological mechanisms underlying this connection, the role of specific nutrients and bioactive compounds in maintaining skin health, as well as the most relevant dietary and supplementation strategies for promoting healthy skin and preventing or improving its potential alterations.

 

An opportunity to delve deeper into an area of growing scientific interest and to understand how nutrition can become a key tool for caring for skin health from within.
