The 23rd National Pharmaceutical Congress will be held from February 7 to 9, 2024, at the Valencia Conference Centre, organized by the General Council of Official Colleges of Pharmacists and with the collaboration of the Illustrious Official College of Pharmacists of Valencia.
Efforts are underway to align content with the current interests of the pharmaceutical profession and its demands.

Several new features have been included in the scientific program of the 23rd National Pharmaceutical Congress, increasing the number of technical sessions, with a predominantly practical focus, and adding two new symposia on the morning of February 7th aimed at specific audiences, with the goal of the Congress becoming increasingly a meeting for all pharmacists, in their different modalities of practice:
- Symposium “Value-Based Medicine” – Jointly organized by the Hospital Pharmacists and Clinical Laboratory Divisions.
- Symposium “Challenges of Industry and Distribution” – Jointly organized by the Industry and Pharmaceutical Distribution Departments.
In both cases, there is the possibility to purchase inscriptions only for one of the symposia, and to subsequently attend the Congress sessions that afternoon, and the Welcome Cocktail.

The form for submitting scientific communications to the 23rd National Pharmaceutical Congress is now available, and submissions can be made until October 15th within the eleven categories related to different areas of pharmaceutical practice:

The main authors of each communication can benefit from a 50 euro discount on registration, in addition to being eligible for one of the prizes awarded in this edition, which you can consult at National Pharmaceutical Congress website.
This year there have been some new features compared to those followed in previous editions:
- Notable increase in the number of awards for the best communications presented.
- Use of the “e-poster” to facilitate the submission of accepted communications by interested parties.
- 50€ discount for the first author of each communication under the described conditions.
- Establishment of a specific Evaluation Committee for incoming communications to expedite the admission process and communication with the first author.
The Organizing Committee of this Congress is very interested in increasing the already high number of submissions typically received. Hence the improvements introduced.
The aim is to boost and raise the scientific level of this type of professional event, while at the same time offering the Congress to pharmacists so that they have the opportunity to evolve in their professional development with these types of research and scientific initiatives.
