The President of the Local Committee highlights that this meeting will allow us to recover the in-person format, which is so necessary to improve ongoing training and rebuild the personal and professional relationships that we have missed so much after this prolonged period of almost social isolation.
It will give us the opportunity to hear from experts in the various areas of diabetes research, care, and education. It will allow us to share experiences, update our knowledge, establish new projects, and, why not, enjoy the sea breeze during our breaks.
The SED is a multidisciplinary, non-profit scientific organization dedicated to supporting advances in diabetes prevention and treatment. It promotes the generation and exchange of knowledge nationally and internationally, with the ultimate goal of improving patients' life expectancy and quality of life. The SED aims to be a national and international benchmark for all stakeholders concerning the care, education, and research aspects related to diabetes.
